Shame on Mr. Will Smith for torturing an unsuspecting audience with possibly the worst, most idiotic and grossly self indulgent, vanity JUNK of a sci-fi fantasy movie. He could have easily made this film (showcasing the questionable talents of his son), and slipped it into his son's lunch box( to show some power-daddy love). What's even worse is the sneaky way the notoriously controversial director's name is not promoted on the posters or trailers. It's almost criminal. It would warn people to stay clear....BOX OFFICE POISON could not be a better fit in this instance.
Mr. M-Night needs to give up on his endless string of weak attempts at being the Spielberg for the 21 century. He's had one lucky shot with Mr. Willis....that was pure LUCK......REAL talent doesn't rely on luck.
Mr. Smith's son, UNfortunately doesn't seem to possess the talent/charm/magic like his father.
Much like the character he plays, he comes off as a lost yet rebellious & spoiled kid looking for independence, yet needing parental direction: YAWN. The special effects looks like any clever 10 year old could create on his home computer: Yawn again...
