If Yves Saint Laurent is considered the master of color theory as it's applied to fashion, then Mr. Dries Van Noten most certainly qualifies as the master of print applications. His eye for combining prints is always sophisticated, often inspired by the way native people in Africa and Asia pile on prints on top of prints without any regard for design theory, just whats available for them. Mr. Van Noten polishes that original sensibility just a touch to adapt it to his context of chic & glamorous high fashion....and does so, brilliantly.
